High amounts of small ldl contributes to risk when you have other problem factors, large ldl is not a problem. Keto tends to result in lots of large ldl and not much small. Total cholesterol: 201 Under 200 is considered optimal, 200-240 borderline, 240+ is high. You're at 201. Total cholesterol just isn't a good predictor of heart disease, especially since better predictors can vary so wildly within the same total cholesterol value. It's outright obsolete now.
