I have a feeling more cheese on the outside layer would make it properly crispy like, I should have dared more, but nevertheless, this soothes that weird craving for anything flour based such as waffles indeed or sandwich bread, with no flours in sight whatsoever. I made these naturally egg fast friendly being the standard rule of : 1 egg, per 1tbsp fat, per 1oz cheese.
